Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Pauline Mary Tritch, 89, of Lafe, Ark., died Jan. 23, 2013, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.
Tritch was born in Lafe, Aug. 14, 1923, to Benjamin and Lydia Scheer, and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker, at one time taught school at Scatter Creek and served as a nurse at the Lafe Clinic. She enjoyed her pets and gardening her houseplants.
Survivors include sons, Elden (Rita) Tritch of Palmer, Larry (Jackie) Tritch and Darryl (Pam) Tritch all of Paragould, Ark.; and daughters, Joan (Arch) Mask and Letha Tritch, both of Lafe, Ark.; brother, Marvin Scheer of Bridgeman, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in addition were her parents; husband, James Tritch; sons, Wayne and Glen Tritch; grandson, Greg Tritch; brother, Robert Scheer; and sister, Betty Svoboda.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday evening at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould, Ark.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m., Jan. 28 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lafe, Ark., with Curt Dwyer officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Grandchildren Kyle Tritch, Shannon Tritch, Brian Tritch, Casey Tritch, Matthew Mask, Cody Mask, and Tonya Hinson will serve as pallbearers.
