Peggy (Barbara) King Springberg, formerly of Wasilla, Alaska, earned her angel wings on August 3, 2016, at the St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Peggy is survived by her husband Gary Springberg (Alaska); daughter Tamara Springberg (Grand Rapids); step sons, Craig Springberg (Alaska) and Todd and Joanne Springberg (Florida) and their children; her siblings, Nancy and Wayne Wilson (Westland), Judy and Bob Turak (Lapeer), George and Theresa King (Arizona), Kathi Lambert (Arizona); in-laws, Shirley and Greg Holmquist (Cadillac), Jack and Mary Springberg (Saginaw), Jean Springberg (Dearborn), Carol and Jim Gauld (Australia) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents George King (1988) and Anne King (2012). Peggy was blessed by the care of the nurses from the Mast-Su Home Health agency and her dear friends Diane Henderson and Ingrid Wahl, who visited her faithfully. Peggy bravely fought Multiple Sclerosis for almost 30 years, and is now at peace at last. She was dearly loved and will be fondly remembered.
