The filing deadline also means local nonprofits participating in the annual Pick.Click.Give. campaign are making their final push for donations.
With just one week left for Mat-Su residents to file for their PFDs, local organizations participating in Pick.Click.Give. are making a final push for donations.
Thus far, more than $149,500 has been raised for local Mat-Su nonprofits. Among the top-grossing programs in Mat-Su thus far are:
• Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue — $47,050.
• Food Pantry of Wasilla — $11,100.
• Alaska Assistance Dogs — $7,950.
This year across Alaska, 471 nonprofits in 48 communities are participating in the annual giving program. Last year, more than 23,000 Alaskans pledged more than $2.2 million through Pick.Click.Give.
About 50 Valley organizations are signed up for the program this year.
