February 22, 1960 - March 25, 2025

Phillip Anthony Allred Yannikos, 65, of Kasilof, passed away after a courageous battle against stage 4 lung cancer on March 25, 2025.

Born on February 22, 1960, in Portland, Oregon, Phil lived a life marked by resilience and ingenuity.

He earned a GED in 1994 and over the years he pursued a diverse career that included managing a restaurant, rebuilding carburetors, house-moving, constructed a custom house, crafting and installing commercial signs, served as a ranch hand, and worked in a high performance machine shop.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Phil owned several businesses, including Continental Carburetor, Allred Enterprises/Big Air Ramps, and co-owned Expert Painting.

Phil briefly served in the Army before embarking on his many professional ventures. His passion for mechanics and craftsmanship extended beyond work. He loved riding snow machines, dirt bikes, motorcycles, and had a deep appreciation for muscle cars.

He spent countless hours tinkering in his shop and found joy in hands-on creativity and adventure. He enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible.

On March 19, 1990, he married Gina Ruth Swenson in Jackson, Wyoming. Although they divorced 18 years later, their life together remained an important chapter in his life.

Phil is survived by his step-father, Pete Yannikos; ex-wife, Gina Glaves; sons, Nicholas and Nathanial Yannikos; 2 stepchildren; 5 half-sisters; 4 half-brothers; 4 stepbrother's; 1 stepsister, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved Grandmother, Bernice Van Dyck Moore Weldon, his father, Jerry Thomas Allred, his mother, Nancy Elaine Moore Yannikos Navrot, his stepfather, Robert Navrot, and his son William Hefty.

He was buried in Spruce Grove Memorial Park in Kasilof.

Phil will be remembered for his hardworking, unwavering, resilient spirit and love of adventure. He believed he was truly "Livin' The Dream!" May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
