Porky Raska

November 25, 1962 - March 14, 2025

Porky successfully ran Pork's Torques and Tranny Parts for over 20 years in the Valley. He had 12,000 hours on Farm Together 1 and 2 on Steam, proudly making his game billions while harvesting his lands.

He would act stupid so people would laugh at what he had done, making you question if it was actually an act. He looked like his mama in drag with a wig on, and he definitely cheated at Uno (and we all knew it).

Most of all, though, Porky was memorable. Everyone knew Porky because he was charismatic and humorous. He treated you like a friend, even when you had just met.

He loved his job rebuilding torque converters and loved showing off his life's work and how it functioned, simply because you asked. His other passions were cooking, Farm Together, '70s music, and his family.

He hated printers, computers, and technology, because it never worked right (when he used it). But he loved people. So much so that it was hard for him to actually get to building at times. Then, of course, he'd blame the other person for gabbing too much, with a smile on his face that showed he knew it was really his fault.

He was incredibly close to his family, a loving dad, grandfather, and husband. He is now free from his medical pains in heaven, but for so many of us left behind, the pain is just beginning.

How do you sum up a person like Porky in an obituary, someone who impacted those he loved so deeply? You can't. Dad was so much more than this post could ever say. He will be missed so much, for so many, he was a huge part of their hearts.

The only thing that won't be missed is the loud "aura" of '70s music that followed him everywhere; he played it constantly, even in the hospital. Now, God has to listen to the '70s all day.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Valley Funeral Home Inc. on April 12, 2025, at 3 p.m.
