Public meetings planned for Mat River Park, Lazy Mountain Rec Area

PALMER — Back-to-back public meetings are planned Jan. 30 at the Palmer Depot Community Center, 610 S. Valley Way.

A meeting on the Matanuska River Park Master Plan is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Palmer Depot Community Center, 610 S. Valley Way. Visit the project website at bit.ly/10Ab5Kb.

Following that meeting, the public will have a chance to provide feedback on the Lazy Mountain Recreation Area Master Plan from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Visit the project website at bit.ly/10Ab5Kb.

People are invited to help shape the future of both the Matanuska River Park and the Lazy Mountain Recreation Area by participating in these two meetings.
