On July 29, 2023, while surrounded by his family, Randy Chase passed away at his home in Wasilla, AK after a short battle with cancer. He was 68 years old.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlene Chase of Wasilla, his four children - Ron (Paige) Chase of Wasilla, daughter Randi (Kevin) Mitchell of Kodiak, daughter Carissa (John) Tolliver of Kodiak, and son Daniel (Jenna) Chase of Wasilla. Randy is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Bradly Mitchell, Kody Mitchell, Celeste Chase, Aidyn Tolliver, Riley Tolliver of Kodiak, Kyler Chase, Ember Chase, Ryker Chase, and Rayden Chase of Wasilla and his father, Ronald Chase, of Wasilla, brother Mark (Ann) Chase of Anchorage, sister Donna (Gary) Poland of Brush Prairie, WA, sister Debi (Wade) Hartman of California, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Randy is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Chase of Kodiak.
Randy was a respected member of the Kodiak community for much of his life. His business, R.C. Enterprises, Inc., has served Kodiak for over 47 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, the patriarch of his family and a cherished friend to many. He will be profoundly missed!
