Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Randy W. Enderson, 46, of Whitefield, N.H., died on May 25, 2011, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H., after a long battle with diabetes.
He was born in Saint Johnsbury, Vt., the son of Roger F. and Linda M. Enderson. As a child, Randy resided in Whitefield, N.H., with his family, and as a young teen moved with his family to Anchorage.
He returned to Whitefield in his late teens and has resided there since. Randy enjoyed all types of sports and never missed watching a NASCAR race. Randy loved his family and spending time with his children. He enjoyed having bonfires with his family and friends, telling stories and jokes. He had a big heart and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Enderson Jr.; grandmother, Elaine Enderson; and grandfather, Dean Skinner.
Surviving are his mother, Linda Enderson of Wasilla; fiancée, Jennifer Pond of Whitefield; children, Tiffany Enderson of Littleton and Tori Enderson, Tristen Enderson, Mariah Dexter and Andrew Pond, all of Whitefield; sisters and their spouses, Betty Thompson of Middlesex, N.C., and Lisa and Glen Enderson, Lori and Greg Hamilton, and Lynn and John Enderson-Roop, all of Wasilla; brothers and their spouses, Roger Enderson III and Nichole, and Robert and Heather Enderson of Wasilla; 14 nieces and nephews; grandmother, Eleanor Hart of Lancaster; several cousins, uncles and aunts; and longtime friends, Steve Fulford and Eugene Costa, Ray, Rema, Keri Clement; and his cousin, Melody Smith, who Randy referred to as his sister; his fiancée’s mother, Janice Pond; and his pets, Gidget, Scooter and Cocoa.
A friends and family gathering is May 30 at Ross Funeral Home, Whitefield Chapel, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A celebration of his life is at 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Lyn Winter officiating.
