Raymond Patrick Smith, 73, passed away at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, Alaska, on Oct. 3, 2015.
Raymond was born on Aug. 14, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Alaska in 1999. He “retired” from U.A.A. Palmer Campus maintenance department.
Pat loved spending time with his family and enjoyed all the beauty Alaska had to offer. Fishing, hunting and working on his house were some of his favorite hobbies, but his passion was his family.
Pat is survived by his wife, Libby Smith, of Wasilla; daughter Denise Carbone, of E. Stroudsburg, PA.; sons Michael, wife Karen, of Wasilla, and Douglas, wife Lisa, of Chester, NJ.; sisters Margaret M. Smith, of Staten Island, NY., and Christine M. Smith of Saratoga Springs, NY.; grandchildren Thomas, Vincent and Kristine Carbone of PA., Alexis and Ryan Smith of AK., and Genna Rose, Andrew and Stephanie Smith of NJ.
Arrangements are with Janssen’s Mat-Su Funeral Home.
