Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

61, of Wasilla passed away November 11, 2018. Ray was born February 11, 1957 in Los Angeles.
The middle child of Dominic and Lucille, he was introduced to his love of Mopars by elder brother Dee Jay. They both competed in the sport of arm wrestling.
Living a life filled with laughter and adventure, Ray lived in southern California, Nevada, and Utah before moving to Alaska after a gold mining camp excursion.
Ray was a shining example of the person we should all strive to be: loving, family oriented, giving, and a true friend who would do anything he could to help you.
Proceeded in death by his parents and brother Dee Jay.
Ray is survived by his brother Robert (Shannon); niece Brianna; and close friends Rick Pulst, Ron Farnsworth, Craig Kinnowr and their families.
A celebration of life is being hosted by Taylored Restoration, Ray's long-time employer, and Floaters Pub, his favorite pool spot.
Please come remember Ray Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Floaters in Big Lake.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Ray's favorite charity, The Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
