Raymond “Ray” C. Newhall born November 16, 1930 in Milford, Connecticut to Hazel Bristol and William Newhall passed away July 9, 2016 at home in his Houston, Alaska residence.
Ray moved to Alaska in 1952 where he fell in love with the beauty and peacefulness that the land had to offer. Ray was a profoundly brilliant man who enjoyed carving, painting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Ray is perceived in death by both of his parents, his wife Helen Newhall, sons Raymond “Duty” Newhall, and Albert “Muggsy” Newhall. Ray is survived by his sons Orville “Doug” Newhall, and Patrick “Pete” Newhall, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
