Rebecca Ann Petersen: February 1, 1999 to April 14, 2022

Our Beautiful Rebecca Ann Petersen passed away April 17th, 2022. A funeral service will be held April 30th, 2022 at Legacy Funeral Home,1015 S. Check St. in Wasilla, AK 99654. Viewing at 1:00pm service at 2:00pm.

Rebecca was born February 1st 1999 in Palmer, Alaska.

Rebecca graduated from Burchell High School in 2017. She received a Certificate of Completion from Mat-Su School District and obtained her CNA. Rebecca received a scholarship and attended UAA to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2018. She also worked with individuals with disabilities. Rebecca put her whole heart into everything she did and had a true passion for The Arts and Photography. Rebecca endured many challenges with courage, confidence and strength. She lived life in the now and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Rebecca’s Grandparents, Jessica and Hannah were a true blessing in her life. Rebecca was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Ronald Petersen and her father, Brian Petersen. She is survived by her Grandmother, Nelly Petersen; Mother, Tina Ponte (Dennis); Kitty wife of Brian; her siblings, Michael, Kayla and Danielle; Uncle Eric (Salena); Nieces and Nephews.
