Our Beautiful Rebecca Ann Petersen passed away April 17th 2022. A funeral service will be held April, 30th 2022 at Legacy Funeral Home at 1015 S. Check St in Wasilla, AK. 99654 viewing at 1:00pm service at 2:00pm.
Rebecca was born February 1st 1999 in Palmer, Alaska.
Rebecca graduated Burchell High School in 2017. She received a Certificate of Completion from Mat-Su School District and obtained her CNA. Rebecca received a scholarship and attended UAA to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2018. She also worked with individuals with disabilities. Rebecca put her whole heart into everything she did and had a true passion for The Arts and Photography. Rebecca endured many challenges with courage, confidence and strength. She lived life in the now and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Rebecca’s Grandparents were a true blessing and were like her parents they took her camping and on many vacations. Jessica and Hannah were too. Rebecca was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather Ronald Petersen and her father Brian Petersen. She is survived by her Grandmother, Nelly Petersen; (Nelly’s Sisters); Mother, Tina Ponte (Dennis); Kitty wife of Brian; her siblings Michael, Kayla and Danielle; Uncle Eric (Selena); Cousins, Jennifer and Jackie; Nieces and Nephews.
