Rebecca Lee York

Rebecca Lee York of Wasilla, Alaska passed away at her home in Ashton Idaho on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 at the age of 39.

Rebecca was born on July 19, 1977 in Anchorage, Alaska. She grew up as the second eldest of 4 siblings and attended Charter College for a degree as a medical assistant. In 2010 she married her best friend Cody York in the beautiful state of Hawaii. Rebecca and Cody were an outgoing couple who enjoyed the great outdoors; camping, hunting, hiking, fishing, and snow-machining. Recently Rebecca and Cody moved out of Alaska to live in a quiet, peaceful life in a small town setting in Ashton Idaho.

Someone once said she had a devilish smile with a caring heart which fits her perfectly. Rebecca was a fun loving and beautiful woman who loved to live life to its fullest. Cody was her best friend and she loved him very much. Cody made her happy. Rebecca wasn’t afraid to tell you like it was, no mincing words with her. She touched a lot of lives and will be dearly missed.

Rebecca is survived by husband Cody York; her mother Julie Beattie; her father Patrick Cole; her daughters Chantel Khomyakova,Tristina and son Skyler York; her sisters Roxanne Hanohano, Rachel Wertman, and Roshele Summeralls; and her two beautiful grandchildren Addie, Ryder and Kalo

A celebration of life will be held in Wasilla, Alaska at Wasilla 7 Day Adventist Church on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm. The family is grateful for everyone’s support during this heartbreaking and tragic time.
