Memorial services for Richard Alan Casler, 62, are at 10 a.m., Aug.16 at Wasilla Lake Pavilion in Wasilla. His ashes will be scattered at Lake Louise.
Mr. Casler died July 5, 2015, near Cantwell. He was born Aug. 30, 1953, in Muskegon, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. He received an associate’s degree in computer science. He came to Alaska in 1980 and settled in Wasilla. He was proud to be a landowner and a boat owner.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and retired from there. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
He is survived by Nicholas, Crystal, Val, Aaron, Jake, Toni, Rebecca, Dustin, Jamie, Branden, Jason and Darin.
