Longtime Alaska resident, Mr. Richard William Monahan, 57, passed away at home on Sunday, September 20, 2015, in Wasilla, Alaska.
Richard was born on September 8, 1958, in Boston, Massachusetts. He moved to Alaska in the early 70s. He worked for Kumin Architects. Richard loved skiing, reading and photography.
Richard is survived by wife, Patricia Monahan, of Wasilla, Alaska; daughter, Toni Monahan, of Wasilla, Alaska; brothers, Ken and Bill of New Hampshire.
He was preceded in death by Mary Monahan, Richard Monahan and Thomas Monahan.
Arrangements were under the direction of Valley Funeral Home, Wasilla Chapel.
