Rita Marie Skala (1938 - 2017) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord Aug. 26, 2017. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is preceded by her husband, Louis A Skala Jr., and their daughter, Geri Ann Skala-Kloss. She is survived by her brother Ken, son Mark and (April) Skala, grandchildren Michael, Katelyn, Cherish, Sean, Brian and (Sarah), Nicholas, great-grandchildren Kaiyani, Briyanna, Mary, Abigail, Olivia and her cockatiel Ricky and new puppy Sissy.
At her request no funeral or memorial services are planned. Arrangements By Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville, North Carolina.
