Rita S. Harvey

Rita S. Harvey, 77, of Willard, Mo., went to Heaven on Sept. 10, 2013.

Rita was born in Klamath Falls, Ore., the daughter of Arther B. and Julia Louise (Newton) Cheves on June 17, 1936. She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1954 and received her B.S. degree in education from Texas Women’s University. She was a retired educator, having 18 years of teaching in Wasilla.

Rita and Clay Harvey were united in marriage on Nov. 8, 1985. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a step-son. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Julia and her husband, Gary Berger of Willard, Mo., and Sonia and her husband, Mark Henry of El Dorado Hills, Ohio; and a son, Troy White of Salt Lake City, Utah. Also, surviving are three step-children; five grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Norris of St Cloud, Fla., and Brenda and Ken Farr of Lubbock, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
