Longtime Alaska resident, Robert Eugene Albright, 59, passed away April 12, 2016, at Albright’s Homestead. Robert was born February 9, 1957, in Anchorage, Alaska. Robert grew up in Anchorage and moved to their homestead in 1982 with his wife Penny and their two children, Robert and Jeannie, where they carved out a beautiful home and life. Robert worked for Laborer Union 341 for 35 years and retired to spend more time with his wife, Penny, of 39 years, and his family. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling with Penny behind him and exploring; but most of all he enjoyed his family and gardening…he had a very green thumb.
He is survived by his wife, Penny; son, Robert; two brothers, Ron and Rodney; sister, Rae Ann Lappo; and so many close family and friends; he was so blessed. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Blackie and Della Albright; his daughter, Jeannie, and an infant before birth.
Services will be held at Albright’s Homestead, April 19 at 2 p.m. It will be a potluck.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Northrim Bank in Robert Albright’s name, account #710133582.
