Robert “Bad Bob” Blackwood took his last glorious ride when the good Lord called him home on October 8, 2015 after a short battle with cancer.
Bob lived his life his way, doing the things he loved; riding his Harleys, taking care of his dogs and making friends wherever he went. He never knew a stranger. Bad Bob was a man with a huge heart, who lived simply and loved life. He loved to laugh, tell stories, turn a wrench on his cycles and ride with his “Famous Dog Annie”.
His love of everything outdoors, hunting and fishing, were with him till the end, and he wanted to be in hunting camp in his last days. Unfortunately that did not happen, but it was in his heart. We want all his hunting buddies, riding family, and slope family to know that he is still with them in spirit.
His family and those closest to him wish to thank all those who helped “Bobby” in his last months. We will truly miss this talented, fun-loving man who was loved by so many!
We will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Bob on Oct. 27, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. at the Palmer Train Depot. We would love to see all his friends come and take part in the celebration and share their remembrances of “Bad Bob”.
