Robert Arnold Grower, died on December 27, 2024, in North Hollywood, California. Robert was born on April 24, 1979.
Robert was a Palmer resident for 27 years. As a child and teen, Robert enjoyed swimming and time with his friends. He was a long-distance swimmer with the Palmer Polar Bears club team and Palmer High School.
Robert became fascinated with the movie and entertainment industry from a young age. He earned his film degree at UNLV and moved to Hollywood, California. Robert worked on various films and TV series in production as a Lighting Technician and member of ISTE 728, with some of his more notable projects including American Gigolo, Station 19, Tiny Beautiful Things, Drunk History, Workaholics, and Hell's Kitchen. While Hollywood will eventually forget his name, he will be remembered and missed by the friends he made there.
Robert will be remembered by his Alaska family and friends as a giving and sentimental individual. He was an incredible Uncle. A beloved son and brother.
He is survived by his mother Colette, father Harland, sister Eileen (Misho), brother Jerry, and niece Katie. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Eileen, John, Marion, Arnold, as well as his friend Joseph Hebert.
A memorial service is planned for February 20th at 6:30 p.m., at St. Michael's Parish in Palmer, AK. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to National Association for Children of Addiction, nacoa.networkforgood.com.
