Robert K. “Bobby” Miller was born July 28, 1983. He went to be with the Lord July 30, 2015. Bobby is survived by his faithful dog, Cruiser; loving parents, Bob and Mikki Miller, and Kandee and Andy Murr; grandfather, Tommy Meshew; several siblings; and his deeply adored nieces and nephews, many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Bobby had a heart of gold. He always hugged his family when he saw them, always said “I love you” before he hung up the phone, and never ate without thanking God first.

Bobby was an avid fisherman and hunter. Wherever he went, he was sure to have two things with him: his Bible and his dog. He was a man of tremendous faith, he had a great sense of humor, and he loved hard.

From the time Bobby could walk and up until his last breath, he attracted stray animals, from birds to cats, and everything inbetween. He loved rescuing and fostering them, even if it meant hiding them in his closet! He was the greatest uncle and loved his nieces and nephews fiercely.

Bobby’s plans for his life involved starting a ministry of helping addicts overcome their addictions. He was very passionate about this cause and considered it to be his calling. In Bobby’s departure, he passes the torch to his loved ones to carry out his mission. This is his legacy, and it will bring freedom to the afflicted.

In Bobby’s own words, “I will be watching over you all from Heaven, I love you.”

A memorial service is at 1 p.m., Aug. 7, at Church on the Rock in Wasilla.

In closing, I leave a semicolon — because this is not the end for Bobby, he is alive in Heaven, and his work on Earth will continue through his legacy;
