With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ron Pritchard on Feb. 28, 2016, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, with his wife at his side.
Born in Delphi, Indiana, on April 30, 1939, to Jack and Evelyn Pritchard, he graduated from Delphi High School in 1958 and joined the Army. In his 22 years of service, he was stationed all over the world, including a tour in Vietnam.
After retirement in 1982, he started to work for MTA, followed by many years with the Mat-Su Borough School District as data processing manager, later including also the Borough.
Ron loved his family and specially his two children and wife. But hunting and fishing was also his love, and he enjoyed it to the fullest. Alaska was the perfect place for him.
Ron leaves behind his wife of 55 years of marriage, Lilo. Son, Andy, and wife, Barbara, daughter Lisa, and husband, Justin, all of Washington state. He also leaves behind many dear friends in Alaska and Indiana, plus aunts and cousins in Delphi.
