Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Rosaline J. Belt, 71, passed away Jan. 31, 2008, at her home. A private celebration of life was held Feb. 3.
Belt was born June 5, 1936, in Post Falls, Idaho. She came to Alaska in 2003, and was a homemaker.
Belt is survived by daughters Lyle Bowman of Wasilla and Debra Belt of Fairfield, Conn.; son James Belt of Wasilla; grandchildren Jason Bowman of Palmer, Margaret Adams of Big Lake, Kathy Bowman of Wasilla, Chandra Elliot of Spokane, Wash., and Jeremy Belt of Moscow, Idaho; great-grandchildren Nick, Tori and Haley Bowman, Robin Lee, Trey and Wiley Adams, and Rylee and Alex Elliot; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements locally were entrusted to Kehl’s Palmer Mortuary.
