Wasilla resident Rose Marie Jackson, 63, died Oct. 15, 2007, at Ruthie’s Place Assisted Living in Wasilla.
A memorial service was held Saturday at Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel in Wasilla.
Jackson was born March 18, 1944, in Foley, Ala. She was a high school graduate and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, singing and playing the piano. In addition to Alaska, she had lived in California, Florida and Georgia.
Jackson was deeply loved and will be missed.
She is survived by daughters, Emmely Jackson and Jesica Jackson of Wasilla, and Shelia Street of Kingsport, Tenn.; grandchildren, Justin King of Wasilla, Taz Pigott and Trystin Pigott of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Emmett King of Jacksonville, Fla.; and cousins, James Marquez and Helen Madison of Wasilla.
