3/06/1940 — 12/10/2022

Sally Jean Worledge, known by many as “Sally of The Valley”, passed away at age 82 at her home on December 10, 2022.

She worked as a Real Estate agent for 40 plus years. She loved finding that perfect home and repeating as families grew. She loved what she did and was thankful and so blessed to be able to do what she loved. Meeting and working with new and old friends were the highlights of her work. Anything she did, she did in the best interest of others.

When in her presence, she would light up the room. She never met a stranger and was known for her humor, devotion, kindness, and joyful playful disposition. She loved going to her Bridge Club every week and driving others too places they needed. Her empathy towards others was one of her greatest attributes.

She traveled all around the world seeing places most people dream of. Hong Kong, Singapore, Africa, India, Greece, New Zealand, Australia, China, Hawaii, Mexico, Portugal, Netherlands, Amsterdam, Rome, to list a few. When she tells stories of her adventures, you felt as if you were there. As much as she loved to travel, her favorite place was Alaska, surrounded by her family. Family was important to her. In her eyes, each one of us were amazing and special in our own ways. Her pride and joy were her 8 grandkids and 16 great grandkids. They would say “No matter what was going on in their life, when you went to Grandma’s house you knew you would have fun”. She lived by example showing us to enjoy life to the fullest, love what you do, laugh, travel, and it’s okay to be a kid no matter your age.

She had recorded a new phone message the week she passed. “Hey, Sally here but not here she’s out in the universe running loose….and then giggled. Classic Sally! A beautiful life came to an end and she will remain in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father John and Agnes Reed, sister Margaret (Punky) Little, brother-in-law Ray Little, brother Johnny Bob Reed, son-law Benjamin Loyer and survived by her three daughters Cynthia Vieu, Sheryl Swain, Teri Loyer, 8 grandkids and 16 great grandkids.

Per her wishes, a Birthday party will be held Sunday March 5th. She will expect stories to be shared and lots of laughter. More updated info will be provided at a later date.
