Samantha Lierley left this earthly journey after a brief illness. Samantha will be remembered for her amazing smile, sense of humor, her love of baking and her love of vintage cars. She had the voice of an angel and loved to sing, especially Christmas carols. She was loved by those who met her. She loved the Lord and was on her earthly mission with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when she was called home to her Heavenly Father.
She was born here in Alaska on Oct. 24, 1991. She was an amazing daughter, aunt, sister and friend. She died doing what she loved on the 27th of May, 2014. She wanted us to celebrate her life by wearing bright colors and not black.
Surviving are her parents, David and Catherine (Huxell) Lierley of Wasilla; siblings, Shoshauna Bible and children, Rebecca, Anthony and Tiffany of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Shai of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Devon (Grace) and children, Joshua, Amelia and Margaret of Anchorage; brother, Shad of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Autumn (Adam) Wojcik and children Kyle, Nathan and Evangaline of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; sister, Jessica (Matthew) Larson and sons, Foster and Thatcher of Lehi, Utah; brother, Zach and his son, Landon of Las Vegas, Nevada, and brother Zebulon, who is also serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil.
Services are planned at 1 p.m., June 2, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Wasilla stake center, with a viewing at noon.
Arrangements were made with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory.
