Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Sandra Kay Handley, 57, of Vancouver, Wash., died Jan. 29, 2010.
She was born in Anchorage on Jan. 14, 1953.
She was involved in several activities, including Girl Scouting, Boy Scouting and DeMolay in Vancouver and Portland, Ore. Sandra’s interests were many, ranging from gardening, crafts and muscle cars. She was always the first to help others and will be greatly missed.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Alfred; daughter, Tracy Ellsworth of Ridgefield, Wash.; son, Colin Handley of Vancouver; three grandchildren, Haley, Zoe and McKenzie; mother, Barbara Leckwold of Palmer; sister, Laurie Wilson of Wasilla; brothers, Brian Leckwold of Florida and David Leckwold of Wasilla.
