Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Anchorage resident (formerly Wasilla) Sara Jean (Doisher) Good-Haase, 37, died unexpectedly May 27, 2013 at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage.
Funeral services are at 3 p.m., June 2 at King of Kings Chapel, 1601 N. Lucille St., Wasilla. She will be laid to rest at the Wasilla Aurora Cemetery.
Sara was born Aug. 17, 1975, to Bobby G. and Karen J. (Covey) Doisher at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. Sara enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling and taking walks.
“Sara was a compassionate, caring, beautiful soul. She was an amazing mother who had deep, unconditional love for her daughters. Sara was a true goddess in her mother’s eyes. She had a warm, open heart and her siblings loved laughing with her. We are devastated by our sudden loss. Sara will be forever in our hearts,” wrote the family.
Sara was preceded in death by her grandfather, Vernon Fish; brother, Jason Covey; and cousin, Merle Fish.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Karin and Carl Covey of Wasilla; father, Bobby Doisher of Arizona; daughters, Gabrielle, Crystal and Ashlie Good, all of Anchorage; sisters, Carmen Covey and family, Cara Covey and family, all of Wasilla, and Karla Douthit and family of Fairbanks; brothers, Eli Doisher and family of Big Lake, Bob Doisher and family of Wasilla and Aaron Doisher of Wasilla; grandchildren, Maxton and Julian Manzano-Good, Alleyahna Leen and Sierra Lopez-Good, all of Anchorage; and grandmother, Emma Fish of Anchorage.
