A visitation for Wasilla resident Scott Eldwin Wall, 58, is from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, May 6 at Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory of Wasilla, 1015 S. Check St., with a military honors ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
Scott died May 2 from injuries sustained in a car accident on the Glenn Highway. He was born Aug. 28, 1952, in Sandy, Utah. He came to Alaska in 1977. He worked for Arctic Circle Enterprises from June 1981 until the time of his death. He was an Air Force veteran.
He enjoyed reading and loved to play with his grandchildren.
According to his family, “Scott had unsurpassed love for his family and friends, and especially for his grandkids.”
Scott is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sue Wall of Palmer; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Alicia Wall of Fort Wainwright; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and John Smith of Wasilla; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Janie Wall, Dan and Debbie Wall, and Lee and Les Wall, all of Utah; sister and brother-in-law, Laurel and Jerry Shields; and grandchildren, Ashlynne, Cassandra and Piper Smith, all of Wasilla.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be directed to Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Mat-Su Schools Foundation, 7362 W. Parks Hwy. No. 782, Wasilla, AK 99654, or to ASPCA, 549 W. International Airport Road, Suite B-2, Anchorage, AK 99518.
