WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski has announced that members of her staff will meet with Alaskans in Talkeetna, Cantwell, Healy, Anderson, Nenana and Minto June 25 to 28.
The senator’s staff will be at the Talkeetna Post office, 13707 E. 1st St., 9 a.m. to noon, June 25.
The mobile office stops are an opportunity to take casework requests and listen to constituent concerns about issues related to the federal government.
In addition, Murkowski is unveiling “Lisa Listens,” a program connecting Alaskans with the senator directly through video. Staff members will record questions submitted from Alaskans via Flipcams during mobile office hours, and Murkowski will respond to a number of them from Washington, D.C. The videos will also be posted online at Murkowski.Senate.Gov and on Sen. Murkowski’s Facebook page.
