Shane Linsey, 43, passed away Aug. 27, at his home in Wasilla.
He lived in Alaska for 30 years and worked as a carpenter.
He was the type of man that wouldn’t leave the house without a can of chew, his hat, rifle, and fishing pole. He wanted to always be prepared.
Shane was an easygoing, loving man. If he had his way he would always be in the woods.
He loved his family and was taken too soon. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley; grandson, Tyler; parents, Ken and Jody Linsey; Gretchen Linsey, Tamera Bliss; his grandmothers, Gloria Pelsey and Patsy Borden; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Following Shane’s wishes, no services are planned. His cremated remains will be scattered at his favorite hunting and fishing area, Noneya Mountain. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Cremation Society of Alaska. Words of comfort can be shared at alaskacremation.com.
