Shelley Saranne Walton (Scott), of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away tragically August 20, 2015, at home.
Born in San Mateo, CA, on June 22, 1958, to John and Margaret Lima, Shelley lived an adventurous life in many states throughout her life’s travels. She had a very competitive spirit and was extremely competent in all her endeavors. Shelley was most proud of her catering business in Phoenix, Arizona, in the 1970s. The call of the wild came knocking in the early 1980s, bringing her to Alaska for many grand adventures. Shelley worked for many years at Matanuska Telephone Association.
The draw of the desert beckoned her back to Arizona in 2013 to retire. It was difficult for her to leave the close proximity of her daughter and precious grandchildren.
Her parents, John and Margaret Lima, her daughter, Stephanie Farquhar, grandchildren, Micheal, Devyn and Shyanne, her brother Mark, four nephews and her dog Jake survive Shelley.
Shelley endeared herself to many, but her closest friends will deeply miss her intense loyalty and friendship.
The family will hold a private celebration at a future date. Anyone wishing to attend, please call Stephanie at 414-4276.
Shelley is with our Lord now. No pain, no fear.
