Sheri Elizabeth Lindberg

Sheri Elizabeth Lindberg, 44, passed away on Sept. 27, 2015. She was born Sept. 26, 1971, in Columbus, Georgia, and came to Alaska from Florida with her family in 1997. She was a resident of Wasilla and employed by H & R Block.

Sheri loved the outdoors, four-wheeling, camping, hiking, rafting and hunting, as well as traveling and telling stories. Most of all, she loved being a Nana, baking and having slumber parties with her grandkids. She loved taking care of everyone. Sheri was very loving and made everyone feel loved beyond words. She always embraced life to the fullest. She lived, she loved and most of all she laughed. She was loved by all who knew her, especially her family, who will miss her greatly.

Sheri is survived by her husband, Michael Lindberg; her children, Samantha (Robbie), Shayne Jr. (Sylvia) and Shawn (Zoe); her grand babies Seth Douglas, Robert Lewis, Sunny Raye, Summer Rayne, Joseph James (Baby J.J.); parents Jacky and Terry Parnell and David and Betty Lewis; sisters Sue (Mark), Penny, and Patricia, all of Florida, and Linda (Steve); nieces and nephews, Jen, Chris, Gabby, Breezy, Savanna, Jacob, Dakota, Lilly, Rhiley Layne, Tanner Lee and Rhemmi Jae.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at the American Legion Post 35, 5050 Tweed Ct. Wasilla, AK 99654 from 2-5 p.m., with a reception to follow at 9798 W Dusk Lake Loop, Wasilla. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity in Sheri’s name.
