Shirley Mae Moore

Shirley Mae Moore, 88, passed away in Anchorage, AK on February 10, 2022, due to her battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Shirley was born to parents Floyd S. Shepherd and Melva L. Pugh in Baker, Montana, on August 31, 1933. She graduated from Bothell Washington High School in Bothell, WA where she met her husband, Keith Kellogg Moore. Their family grew with Shirley being a homemaker to their five children. They decided to call Alaska home in 1974.

She is survived by sons Scott Moore (Debra) and Doug Moore; daughter Heidi Gwinnell (Michael); 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by sons Mike Moore (April) and Keith Andrew Moore (Karen); husband Keith Kellogg Moore; and great-grandson Peace Bedingfield.

There will be a service held on February 19th, 2pm, at Sunny Knik Chapel in Wasilla, AK; officiated by Pastor Duan Guisinger. Shirley will be laid to rest at Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery.
