Silvia Carlson passed away on October 17, 2021 in Palmer, Alaska.
Silvia was born June 14,1956 in Torgau, Germany to Maria Denzl and Warner Hupfer. She moved to the United States when she was 10 years old and resided in Washington until moving to Alaska in 1985 with her family. Silvia worked road construction from 1991 to 2020 when she retired.
She loved spending time with her family, which included her husband, three kids and 13 grandchildren. She also loved baking with them, holidays (especially Halloween and Christmas) and was a friend/Mom figure to many people. She had a laugh that filled your heart and enjoyed living life to the fullest by attending Arctic Man, concerts and camping with her friends and family. Silvia was loved by so many and will be incredibly missed.
Silvia is survived by her husband Craig, her three children; Mike, Tim, Sarah and two stepdaughters; Sarah and Stephanie and well as 13 grandchildren who were the light of her life.
Silvia’s Celebration of Life will be held on October 31, 2021. It will be located at the Palmer Train Depot and start at 1pm.
