Sister Victoria Emma Chizuk (Castillo) 87, born Jan. 22, 1929 in Jerome, Arizona to Mercedes P. Castillo & Martin Castillo.
She accepted & professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She lived in Alaska for 20 plus years, joined Shiloh MBC of Palmer on April 2, 20; a faithful member until death. On May 11, 2016, she transitioned to the land of a “cloudless day” in San Diego, California.
A Memorial Service held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. Shiloh MBC of Palmer, 505 S. Bailey Street. Pastor Mitchell Officiating.
Sister Victoria preceded in death by her mother, Mercedes P. Arce & step-father Martin Arce, sisters Lydia Smith, & Vera Alvillar; sons Paul J. Marquez (Hector) AK; Robert A. Marquez Portland, Oregon.
She is survived by daughters Lydia Cabello, Amarillo, Texas; Abigail R. Henry of Anchorage, Alaska; sons Armando C. Marquez, Jr., Jacksonville, Florida; Moses Marquez Simonet, San Diego, California; Luke S. Martin, California, & Michael J. Frye, Lansing, Minnesota. Sister Victoria has 19 Grands, 41 Great-Grands, & 19 Great, Great Grands.
A family service held at Legacy Funeral & Cremation Care in San Diego, CA. She is buried at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA.
