Wasilla resident Speed Porter, 84, passed away Nov. 14, 2013, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer.
A celebration of life is at 1:30 p.m., Nov. 16 in the common area at Primrose, 889 N. Elkhorn Drive, Wasilla. His cremated remains will be interred with military honors at 1 p.m., Nov. 19 at Fort Richardson National Cemetery. Please meet at the Fort Richardson gate at 12:30 p.m. to form the procession into the cemetery.
