It is with sadness and disbelief we announce the passing of Steven L. Williams at the tender age of 22. Steven departed this world on September 2, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, humor and cherished memories. His warm smile, generous spirit, and vibrant personality touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born in Palmer Alaska he was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a shining light in the lives of his family and brought immeasurable joy and happiness. Steven will forever be etched in the minds of those who loved him.
Steven was a graduate of Palmer Middle School and Houston High School. He had a thirst for knowledge as he pursued his studies with passion and dedication.
Steven leaves behind a host of loved ones who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his father Donald Williams, mother Heather Gillespie and step mother Tanya Hollingsworth. Steven’s brothers Chris, Jon, Donny and Michael, sisters Rudy, Katie, Mackenzie, and Allison and step brothers Ricky, Joey, and Jacob all held a special place in his heart. Steven’s grandparents Steve and Kathy Fields and grandmother Debbie Gillespie will forever treasure the memories they made with him. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a vast network of friends that adore him.
A celebration of life will be held on September 28, 2024 at 1 p.m. in Palmer, Alaska at the Salvation Army where he loved to volunteer. 12271 E. Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. Palmer AK 99645.
As we mourn the loss of Steven Williams let us remember his vibrant spirit, laugh, compassion, goofiness, smile and love for life. May his memory inspire us to live each day to the fullest and to appreciate the precious memories we have with those we hold dear. May his soul rest in forever peace.... After the service we will be having a potluck.
