This photo was taken October 31, 2015. It was Halloween and my friend's last day in Alaska and we could not have gotten a more Alaskan day. It was the the first snowfall of the year, so we decided to go to the Eagle River Nature Center where we saw this bear, then had some Bear Tooth and ended the day with some aurora. I love this photo because every time I see it, it brings me right back to that day.
This photo was taken in the summer of 2016. This shoot was one of many first. It was my friend and I's first time shooting together. It was my first indoor shoot and my first nude shoot. Which all made me nervous, but as someone who has been on both sides of the camera she talked me through it and suggested things that made this shoot what it was. I love this photo because of the strength and power in her back. I also learned a lot on this shoot, skills I have used on every shoot since.
