Dear Alaskans,
When voting we look for great leaders. I have always loved the adage “great leaders create new leaders, not followers.” In this critical election I am looking for candidates who seek to uplift others who show leadership potential and who will ensure a legacy of great leaders under their own selfless leadership efforts. While I thank the incumbent for U.S. House, Don Young, for his nearly 50 years of service to the state of Alaska, his continued bid for the same position, and some people’s inability to even consider a different candidate, feels like his motivation is less selfless and more about continued cultivation of followers. It is simply time for him to recognize that perhaps he has inspired other great leaders, to step down graciously, thank Alaskans for their faith in his service, and show pride and give encouragement to others who have excellent leadership potential and also love Alaska. I am very excited to vote for Alyse Galvin. She is a third generation Alaskan who served Alaska under Republican and Independent governors and led a non-partisan grassroots movement to restore education funding and improve our schools. She is intelligent, articulate, compassionate, and a great communicator — other hallmarks of great leaders. Unfortunately, Don Young and his campaign, rather than recognizing another great leader, continue to spread untruths about Alyse and her campaign. I invite everyone to visit her website, particularly this link: (https://www.alyse4alaska.com/realrecord), or even better, reach out to her directly. She is that accessible. Truth and civility are stronger than lies and hate. Facts matter now more than ever. Alyse will take the truth, civility, facts, and her love of Alaska and Alaskans to D.C.. Vote Alyse Galvin for U.S. House and galvanize others to do so, as well.
