PALMER — A Sutton man is dead after a single-vehicle accident near Sutton early Monday morning.
Alaska State Troopers identified Wallace Roy Tingook, 59, as in the deceased in an online dispatch published Monday afternoon. The initial report came in just after 1 a.m. Monday. Troopers responded to Mile 59.5 of the Glenn Highway and reported a single-vehicle rollover. Tingook was dead when troopers arrived, according to the report, which also said it appears Tingook was ejected from the vehicle.
“Investigation shows the vehicle was northbound on the Glenn Highway and began a skid on a corner which was overcorrected, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway where it rolled multiple times,” according to the dispatch.
