Ted Durham passed away at the age of 76 at his home in Alaska. He was born in Cass Lake, Minnesota ,to the late John Samuel “Jack” and Florence Edna (Sell) Durham.
He was raised in Hibbing, Minnesota, and graduated from Hibbing High School. After graduating high school, Ted moved to Alaska. He worked for Wren Airlines, M-W Drilling company for 25 years. He then started his own business, Durham Pump and Well, in the late 1990s.
He met Anita Brandenburger, and they were married on December 12, 1980, in Hamilton, Ohio. After their wedding they moved to Wasilla AK, where Ted owned some property.
Ted had a zest for outdoor adventures. His property was his lifelong goal and the legacy he leaves behind. It is the passion for his land, that became his home, that everyone admired.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Anita Durham, of Wasilla, Alaska; his brother, Gerald (Cathie) Durham, of Andover, MN; his sister. Janis (Richard) Belmont. of Fergus Falls, MN.
He was loved immensely by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
