Teresa Boggs Oliver

Teresa Boggs Oliver was born September 2, 1965 at Ireland Army Hospital on Ft. Knox, Kentucky to Wilda Harris Boggs and Danny Boggs. She passed away March 14, 2023 with her two nieces, Danica and Taryn; brother Kevin Boggs; and her mom Wilda Boggs by her side. In March, 1967, Teresa, Kevin and mom drove from Georgia to Alaska in a camper, through connecting states and Canada up the Alcan Hwy to Alaska with her uncle, aunt, three cousins two large dogs and a small furry pet.

Teresa attended grades one through twelve in Palmer, graduating from Palmer High in1984. The next few years she worked at several grocery stores, was a waitress and a bartender in Palmer, Anchorage and Wasilla. She also spent some time working at a local auto parts store. She loved roller skating, swimming, crocheting ,fishing, camping, and dancing. And spending time with family and friends.

Teresa is survived by her brother Kevin and wife Kim, nieces Danica and Taryn, and mom Wilda Boggs. Many dear cousins and special friend of 53 years Kathy Sawyer Furbush. She is deceased by her nephew, Mat Boggs and many aunts and uncles, she will be dearly missed.

The family is planning a potluck Celebration of Life for Teresa on Sunday July 23, 2023 at 2:00pm at Kevin and Kim’s on Lazy Mountain. Bring a dish and stories to tell about Teresa and all the good times you had with her that she didn’t want her mom to know about.
