Teresa Kay Stanton
Teresa Kay Stanton entered heaven on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Anchorage Alaska.
Teresa had a heart of gold and a gentle and kind soul. She was born December 16, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Winn and Yvonne Hasselford. Teresa grew up in Tulsa and graduated from East Central High School in 1970. She moved to Alaska, splitting time living in Hawaii before settling in Wasilla, the place she loved the most.
She loved antiquing, sewing, quilting and gardening. Christmas was Teresa’s favorite holiday—she usually decorated seven or more trees at a time. She loved dogs and her collection of Dalmatians was extensive. Gold mining in Alaska was a dream of hers and you might catch her panning a local stream on a nice day. Teresa was a very free spirit and a giving person with a funny personality. She will be truly missed.
Teresa is survived by her partner, Jeff Francis; sister, Cindy Wulff; brothers, Lloyd Winn and Robert Winn; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and many good friends.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
