PALMER — Theory of a Deadman is set to perform during the 2024 Alaska State Fair.

According to a recent press release, the Multi-platinum rock group will put on a concert at the Borealis Theatre Friday, August 30, at 7 p.m.

The press release indicated that Theory of a Deadman has “proven themselves as a hard rock force over the past two decades” with major multi-platinum hits and an immense amount of sold-out performances.

The band has close roots daring back to jamming together in basements throughout high school in their small hometown North Delta, British Columbia. They emerged on the music scene with the release of the self-titled album, “Theory of a Deadman” in 2002.

Theory of a Deadman kept the beat going and released numerous albums over the years such as the double-platinum breakthrough album “Scars & Souvenirs” in 2008 and the gold-certified album “The Truth Is…” in 2011.

They also accumulated a number of hits, such as “All Or Nothing,” “Lowlife,” “Angel,” “Hate My Life,” “Not Meant To Be,” “Bad Girlfriend” and “RX (Medicate).”

Most recently, Theory of a Deadman released their eighth full-length album “Dinosaur” in 2023.

Theory of a Deadman joins the 2024 Alaska State Fair Concert Series with other confirmed big name acts such as Oliver Anthony, Whiskey Myers, Mt. Joy, Kolohe Kai, Ludacris, Stephen Sanchez, NEEDTOBREATHE, Wynonna Judd, and Halestorm.

Concert-goers have the option to purchase concert-only tickets or tickets that include Fair admission.
