Lifetime Alaskan resident, Theresa Ann Christensen, passed away in her home in Sutton, Alaska on the evening of June 6, 2022. Services will be held at Kings Chapel 1701 N. Lucille St, Wasilla, Alaska at 1 o’clock pm. on Thursday June 23, 2022.

Theresa was born December 15, 1967 in Anchorage, Alaska, to her parents Patricia and Dave Gratias. She graduated from S.A.V.E. High School in 1984. In November of 1991, she married her husband of 30 memorable years, William Christensen in Eagle River, Alaska. In the following year she gave birth to her daughter Calla Mae Christensen. Theresa loved gardening, fishing, spending time with her family, and always had time to sit down and watch a good Scooby-doo cartoon. She also cherished being a mother and took care of many individuals throughout her lifetime, as she would put it “her squeakers were her life”. Theresa was a personal care assistant in Wasilla, Alaska and always found pleasure and happiness in helping others in need. She lived her final days on their property in Sutton, Alaska, just the way she wanted it. She will be well remembered for her kind heart and her caring nature.

Theresa is survived by her father Dave Gratias (Carol), her siblings, Kimberly Joens, Tina Gratias, Travis Sasser, and Darlene Matthews, her daughter, Calla Christensen (Eric), her stepchildren, Angelique Christensen, Gabrielle Petersen-Christensen, Billy Christensen (Heather), Richie Christensen-Hacker, Anthony Hall, Cheri Hall, and Heather Hall, her companion, Michael Neumann, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, William Christensen, her mother, Patricia Gratias, and her siblings Tricia Warren and Troy Matthews. The family asks that any donations be given directly to Calla Christensen to cover service costs and any additional expenditures.
