THOMAS A. HOOKS

Lifelong Alaskan Thomas Aaron Hooks, 56, died on July 9, 2010 at Alaska Regional Medical Center. Services are pending.

Thomas was born on May 27, 1954 in Palmer. He was employed part-time at Matanuska Telephone Association and Matanuska Electric Association, and worked mostly year-round at the farm, and the last few years at Immediate Care. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

His family wrote, “Tom was humorous and very fun loving. He had a kind heart; if anyone needed help, he was there. If he couldn’t help, he would find someone who could help. He enjoyed football and baseball on TV. He was cheerful, happy and he will remain forever in our hearts until we see him in Heaven when it’s time.”

He is survived by his significant other, Pamela Combs; mother, Hazel Hooks; brother, Keith (”KC”) Hooks Jr.; daughter, Rachel Hooks; sons, Thomas Jr. and Hank Warner; grandchildren Harley, Hayley, Leif, Nataleigh, Cloe and Rane; nephews and nieces Brian, Josh, Allison, Tanner, Madison, Nathan, Ava, Courtney Rae and Justice.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith C. Hooks Sr., and two brothers, George and Anthony (”Andy”).

Donations may be made to a charity of choice. Tom’s ashes will be scattered on Lazy Mountain.

Arrangements were en-trusted to Legacy Funeral Home-Kehl’s Palmer Chapel.
