Thomas Albert Starr, born July 8th, 1951, joined his friends and family in heaven on March 18th, 2022. He was preceded by his mother, Vivian Mayo, father, Homer Mayo, and brother, Clyde (Bud) Starr. Tom is survived by his sisters, Jullie Starr and Georgia Spirock (Cliff); son, Greg Giauque (Lori); daughters, Kirstie Starr-Watson (John) and Lesa Thomas (Neil); six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and longtime companion Elaine Burkhart.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 501 E. Bogard Road, Wasilla, Alaska, on April 24th, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided after the service.
