Tom went to rest with the Lord after a long battle with diabetes and recent diagnosis of cancer. He passed at home peacefully surrounded by family and friends on the evening of May 6th, 2019.
Thomas Francis Campbell, born September 6, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska, the third child of Thomas Francis Healy Campbell and Mary Catherine Daly Campbell.
Tom attended Catholic Grade School and graduated from Skyline High School in Dallas Texas in 1972.
Tom moved to Alaska in 1981 and met his soul mate Patricia shortly after. They had a loving relationship for 32 years.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife Patricia; his stepdaughter Dina; sisters Christine, Lee, and Katie; and brothers Christopher and Patrick; nieces Carie, Cassie; and Nephews Jody, Jeremiah and Billy; and Great Nephew Andy.
Tom is survived by stepfather and mentor Robert Hourihan; his 2 stepsons, Robert and Wyatt Townsend; sisters Connie (Kenny) Groat, Cecelia (Brent) Neer, and Mary Ann (Tom) O’Mara; brothers Bill (Janie) Campbell and Jackson Hourihan; 21 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews; and 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Ft. Rich National Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Friday May 17.
